Keep on Truckin’!
En route into New York City, a box truck carrying Erik Selvig and his team passes through a tunnel.
As someone who grew up near Los Angeles, this shot seemed instinctively like a tunnel from the freeways in that area. But somehow I was unable to reconcile that with the fact that the rest of the film was shot in New York City and Cleveland. But the feeling persisted until I realized that it was the tunnel between the 105 Eastbound and 405 Northbound freeways near LAX Airport. Check out the street view below to see for yourself.
