Tony saves Pepper just as one of the drones is about explode and flies onto the roof of this local Queen’s apartment complex. According to Cinefex #122, the background plate for this was actually shot on the top of Favreau’s childhood apartment in Queen’s, NY.

It appears to be modeled on the LeFrak City Apartments just West of the Expo park.
