Tony saves Pepper just as one of the drones is about to explode and flies onto the roof of this local Queens apartment complex. According to Cinefex 122, the background plate for this was actually shot on the top of Favreau’s childhood apartment in Queens, NY.

It appears to be modeled on the LeFrak City Apartments just West of the Expo park.
