I have never been to a jazz club before.

After being replaced in the Broadway show, Mary Jane finds herself a job as a singing waitress at a jazz bar, at 372 Harrison at E 12th St.

In reality, this bar is a facade at the Paramount backlot at the corner of Brooklyn & Soho.
