Peter drives his moped to the theater to see MJ’s play, unaware that a high speed police chase is coming up behind him. When his spider-sense kicks in, he leaps off his bike landing in the street, to the amazement of a couple of kids.
Peter cruises along 7th street in Los Angeles, between S Grand Ave and S Hope St (the footage for this is reversed). He misses getting hit by the car on 7th Street at Flower Street.
