The Green Goblin makes his first public appearance at the Unity Day Festival in Times Square, seeking revenge on the board of Oscorp Industries for firing Norman Osborne.
According to Cinefex 90 the open air festivities and stunt work at the street level were filmed at the old Rockwell Defense Plant, located at Bellflower and Imperial Highway, in Downey, CA.
Obviously, the background plates put this at the south end of Times Square with the Empire Grand Hotel acting as a digital stand-in for the New York Marriott Marquis at 1535 Broadway, New York.
The balcony sequence was filmed on Sony Soundstage 27 in Culver City, CA.
