The Goblin kidnaps Mary Jane and flies her onto the top of the Queensboro Bridge, offering Spider-Man a herculean choice: save the woman he loves or a gondola full of citizens.

While the Queensboro Bridge served as the background plates for this sequence the majority of filming was either done on the soundstage, with an hydraulic gondola, or fully CGI. This bridge has been featured in several other Marvel projects including Netflix’s Jessica Jones, and Spider-Man: No Way Home.
