In the flashbacks of this episode, Jessica shares a loft with ex-bartender, Stirling, who is in the process of creating his own bar/club, Club Alias.

This spacious NYC loft was filmed at the DUMBO Salt Works loft, a filming location at the corner of York and Bridge streets in Brooklyn.

Later in the episode, Alisa finds out where Jessica lives and sees her coming out of the building. Jessica helps some young children trying to stay cool by kicking the cap off a nearby fire hydrant.

This exterior was filmed in a different location from the interior. A building at 530 W 45th Street in Hell’s Kitchen was used instead.
