Please exit the aquarium immediately…
Following up on a tip from psychiatric patient David Kawecki, Jessica visits the aquarium and finds the mysterious “Dr. Karl,” aka Karl Malus. He is seen with the woman who has been masquerading as Dr. Leslie Hansen. When she spots Jessica, she cracks the glass on one of the exhibits, prompting an evacuation of the building.
Exterior
The exterior of the aquarium, glimpsed briefly at the end of episode 5 and then seen further at the start of the following episode, was not filmed at an aquarium at all. It was filmed outside the Atrium at the Brooklyn Botanical Garden. Thanks to MovieMaps for finding this location.

Interior
The aquarium interior was filmed at a real aquarium, which would otherwise be hard to fake. The Long Island Aquarium in Riverhead was the setting for this stakeout. It’s presumed that the octopus exhibit used visual effects to show the mollusk swimming around.
