Joaquin Torres was shot down during the skirmish, and is now in surgery at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.

Joaquin is admitted to Walter Reed Hospital which is located in Bethesda, Maryland, where he undergoes surgery. Sam and Bucky meet to discuss how to move forward. Later Sam meets with Samuel Sterns in the courtyard, and even later talks with Isaiah in the hallway before visiting a recuperating Joaquin in his hospital room.

ENTRANCE

The exterior pan down to the reporters standing outside the building was filmed at 61 Forsyth Street SW in Atlanta. This is the US Health and Human Services building. This courtyard was also used in She-Hulk Attorney at Law as the GLK&H Courtyard.

INTERIOR

For the interiors of the hospital, the Southern Regional Medical Center was used. That is the go-to location for hospital scenes in other Marvel films and shows, and the windows in Joaquin’s room appear to match the shape and placement of windows on the actual building.
