Matt and Kirsten are questioned by reporters as they head into the courtroom for the beginning of the Ayala trial. In the court, Matt is shut down on getting bail for his client by the District Attorney. Later, Matt brings some evidence to light that the judge decides is not relevant to the case.

Exterior

In episode 2, Matt and Kirsten are crossing Foley Square, passing the Triumph of the Human Spirit fountain, on the way towards the New York County Supreme Court building. However, unlike previous seasons, that’s not where the interiors were filmed.
