Matt and Foggy decide attend the Black and White Ball, at the Grand Hotel, in order to get a better class of client.

The aerial establishing shots of the hotel were taken in New York. They are of the Crown Building, a 1921 French Renaissance style building located at 730 5th Avenue in Midtown.

Without knowing that Wilson Fisk is secretly the Kingpin, the man they have been fighting, Foggy attempts to win him over as a client before being shut-down by his associate Wesley.

The interiors of the Biltmore Los Angeles ballroom were used for the party scenes. This hotel, and this room specifically, have showed up in dozens of films and television shows, including Agent Carter and Agents of SHIELD.

The final shot of the hotel is the exterior as Nikolas instructs Elektra to get into the limo. This appears that it could be a facade at a backlot, or a modified exterior of some other building. It’s definitely not any of the entrances to the Biltmore Hotel.
