That light at the end of the tunnel? That’s not heaven. That’s the C Train.
Daredevil chases Quesada from Josie’s Bar into the subway, where Quesada attempts to kill The Man Without Fear. Daredevil takes the law into his own hands and knocks the criminal onto the tracks in front of an oncoming train. Later, Detective Manolis is questioned about the incident by reporter Ben Urich.
Directly across the street from the sidewalk outside Josie’s Bar, on the Paramount backlot, is the subway entrance. A set of stairs descends underground allowing the production to pretend as if the characters are heading to a subway.

The scenes inside the 50th Street Station were filmed at an old warehouse in San Pedro, called Warehouse Number One. It contains two railway lines into it that were used for unloading goods. For the effect of the train racing down the track, behind the scenes footage shows a giant light attached to a hand car that was pushed towards the actors.
