Malcolm and Nichelle on a University campus.

I was just on campus. Thought I’d say hi.

Malcolm sees a clue in a photograph of “Dr. Karl,” recognizing a ring he’s wearing as belonging to the university he got kicked out of. He returns and meets with his old girlfriend, Nichelle. Malcolm catches up with her and ends up stealing her student ID so he can gain access and get paperwork on who this doctor may be.

This is a real university campus for the Union Theological Seminary, located in Morningside Heights.
