Who’s DeMarr “Doorman” Davis?

Episode 4, shot entirely in black and white, tells the rise and fall of DeMarr “Doorman” Davis, a young man who received special powers allowing his body to be used as a doorway. His first job was as a doorman at the Wilcox Club in Hollywood.

While there is no real Wilcox Club, the Sound Nightclub, at 1642 N Las Palmas, served as this location. The alley where DeMarr receives his powers is just next door to this building.
