Riri returns home to her family’s apartment building with a little help from Landon. Inside, her mother and her friends welcome her back home with a minimum of grief.

An apartment complex on E. 69th Street in Chicago was used for the exteriors of the Williams’s apartment building. The interior of the apartment, and the hall and stairway outside (4E, as seen in episode 3) were all filmed on soundstages.
