A selfie video of Riri and Natalie on the steps of a museum or a school plays amongst shots of the girls playing with a microscope and doing each other’s hair. In episode 5, NATALIE takes the Ironheart suit to the museum and sits on the edge of the roof, rewatching the selfie video seen in episode 1. The suit is then captured by Slug.

Since this sequence begins the first episode, it was initially believed to be steps outside MIT. But, since Natalie would not have been at MIT with Riri, and the production filmed no new footage in Massachusetts for this series, an alternate idea was needed. This turns out to be the steps on the north side of the Griffin Museum of Science and Industry, in Chicago.
