The mining facility appears in a flashback as well as in the present day. Nighttime shots of this location are from an early mission by Coulson and May. Coulson returns in the present day looking for further answers and a way to track Ivanov down. The Cyrillic on the sign by the guard post says “Burkov Mining Company,” while the sign over the building simply says “Mining Company.”

It’s extremely frustrating to have been unable to find this location. It appears to be someplace in the Santa Clarita Valley, but hasn’t yet revealed itself. The electrical towers and oil derrick, along with the large building on the property, seem like they would make it easier to track down.
