After his capture, Billy is taken aboard Anton Ivanov’s submarine, where he is tortured for the location of the Darkhold book.

According to Agents of SHIELD Season Four Declassified, this submarine was painstakingly created for the show. In the Los Angeles area, there are Naval vessels to film on, but no submarines–so they built one themselves (which also allows them to make it bigger to accommodate cameras and lights).
