Coulson and Mack get a call from Agent May to return back to the Playground before telling them they need to head to Los Angeles and investigate sightings of Quake. In episode 7, Mack departs Zephyr One on his motorcycle after becoming possessed by the Ghost Rider.

Zephyr One lands at the San Bernardino Airport, which made several appearances in the first season of Agents of SHIELD as landing fields for The Bus. There was no actual filming done at the airport for this season as the first shot is a visual effect, and the second was filmed at a soundstage with a greenscreen, both combining with stock footage of the airport.
