Not using his lights must save him a lot of money every month.
Matt spends little time at his new apartment. When he does, it seems as if he’s always hearing bad news from the television. Episode 3 sees him bringing Heather over for a nice, intimate dinner where they toast to lost friends. In Episode 4, Matt’s rooftop is shown as he trains with his billy clubs. Episode 9 has an exciting action sequence in the apartment, and also reveals the exterior.
INTERIOR
Matt presumably lives in the Greenpoint area of Brooklyn, based on the reflection of midtown in his window. His apartment is also likely built on a soundstage, especially the balcony and the rooftop, with the views digitally inserted.
EXTERIOR
In episode 9, Fisk’s Task Force comes to pay a visit on lawyer Matt Murdock, but gets more than they expected.
The exterior of Matt’s apartment is in Brooklyn, as expected by the visible above-ground power lines. Searching near available Citi Bike locations turned up this location at 122 Harrison Place, at the corner of Porter Avenue. The portion of Matt’s apartment on the rooftop, balcony, and all was added digitally.
