Chadwick Ranch, Santa Clarita | MCU: Location Scout

She’s in the Santa Clarita Valley near a town called Newhall.

After the disastrous fundraiser and the death of her husband in the previous episode, Whitney leaves the city for the solitude of their country ranch. It’s there that she interrogates Dottie Underwood in a cellar to find out what Peggy wants from her, and where Peggy and Jarvis attempt a rescue mission of their own.

The location of the Ranch, as mentioned in the quote above, is probably a joke based on the location of Disney’s Golden Oak Ranch, an often-used Movie Ranch for this series as well as for Agents of SHIELD, which is located in the town of Newhall. Strangely enough, this location is about 30 minutes southwest of Newhall at the Hummingbird Nest Ranch in Santa Susana. The small Spanish-style bungalows and pool seen in this episode are a part of the Ranch known as “Sitting Bull.” The Ranch was previously featured in Agents of SHIELD Season 2 as the community where Agent May’s father lived.
