New York may be the city that never sleeps, but it sure does sleep around.
The series opens with a couple making out under a bridge as Jessica’s observing camera captures images.
Please understand that there is a bit of error on this location only due to the fact that Google Street View (still) cannot see behind walls (or go into spaces that don’t allow cars). I had thought that this overhead structure was a bridge, which is sort of true. These are the girders under the High Line, an elevated linear park and greenway created from an old railway line in Chelsea. Given the direction of the girders and the supports, the High Line runs front to back in the image, which limits the placement somewhere between W 18th and W 28th Streets. My hypothesis is that this is an off-street parking lot near 506 W 24th Street, which is gated–but has the necessary wall section and depth to house the cars as seen in the images. If it’s not that exact one, there were at least two others in that vicinity that could have been used for filming. Sometime after filming, this lot was enclosed to form a building of some kind.
