Loading Dock, Maryland | MCU: Location Scout

Andrew will be put in stasis, held in human form, before that thing can completely take him over.

After being captured in the previous episode, Andrew’s stasis container is loaded on a truck and shipped off as a sad Melinda May watches.

While my original notes listed this as an ATCU facility, that would not be the case. Why would they ship the crate from one ATCU location to another? (Except that’s exactly what they do in the show!). The Agents of SHIELD Season Three Declassified book identifies this as “SHIELD HQ,” which is possible, but if so, it’s not The Playground, as Coulson indicates he’ll be taking Rosalind there later. It may be as simple as being the loading dock at Culver University, in which case, this would be West Virginia instead of Maryland, which was decided upon based on the license plates of the vehicles.

What makes this even more confusing is that it’s filmed at the same location as the ACTU Headquarters that Hunter and Bobbi infiltrate later in the episode, which is a large office building off National Way in Simi Valley. It is presently an Amazon Delivery Station.
