Interior

Episode 2 of Season 3 opens with a group of Lords in 1839 picking stones out of a bag to see which of them will travel through the monolith’s portal. Coulson and the team find the location in 2015, using the archaic machinery to open the portal and rescue Simmons.

According to Agents of SHIELD Season Three Declassified, this location was a set built on Culver Studios Stage 14. It was meant to be a short-lived set, but ended up staying erected for the first half of the season.

Exterior Mobile Camp

Episodes 9 and 10 return to the castle with Gideon Malick leading a group of HYDRA soldiers, including Ward, in hopes of returning a rogue Inhuman to Earth. They set up a base outside the ruins.

While the interiors of the base appear to be built on a stage, the exteriors of the base presumably were shot at the Golden Oak Ranch.
