DEADPOOL

Colossus sees a news report about Wade’s attack on Ajax on the news, so he grabs Negasonic Teenage Warhead, and they head out to stop Deadpool. Later, Wade shows up to ask for some help from the only two X-Men at home at the moment.

This location is Hatley Castle in Colwood, BC, which served as the exteriors of the X-Mansion in X2: X-Men United, and X-Men: The Last Stand (but not in the original X-Men film, as they filmed in Ontario). It was a former naval training facility and current historic site that has been used in lots of films and television shows shot in the Vancouver area. It first appears as Xavier’s mansion in the made-for-TV movie Generation X. It may also be recognizable as Luthor Mansion to fans of the TV series Smallville.

DEADPOOL 2

Wade is rescued by Colossus after attempting a third suicide and nursed by to health at the X-Mansion. The same location was used for x-teriors as with the first film.

Interiors

The first Deadpool film presumably used a soundstage for the one or two quick interior shots. But for Deadpool 2, the location of Hycroft Manor in Vancouver was chosen. The cameo with the current 2018 X-Men team was filmed at both Hycroft Manor (for Wade’s side) and studios in Montreal, where X-Men: Dark Phoenix was filming at the time.
