Ben & Karen meet near the waterfront to discuss breaking the Kingpin story, and then walk up an alley. In the following episode, Karen comes back to this location to dispose of the gun she used to kill Wesley.

The production found another area near the water to film this exposition scene off of Milton Alley in Greenpoint. The walk off into the alley towards West Street in the distance.
