Ben Urich’s Office

Ben is seen working in his office on several occasions, including speaking with his editor, Mitchell Ellison. This room, and the bullpen area immediately outside, are presumed to be a soundstage. In The Defenders and Season 3, Karen Page takes over this office when she becomes a reporter at The Bulletin.

Mitchell Ellison’s Office & Bulletin Bullpen

The area immediately outside Ben’s office includes the small bullpen made up of half a dozen desks and Ellison’s Editor’s Office. These were the only parts of the Bulletin seen in Season 2 of Daredevil.

Loading Dock (Episode 8)

The Man in Black confronts Ben Urich in the rainy back alley loading dock of the New York Bulletin. He convinces the reporter to write an exposé on Wilson Fisk.

For scenes in this episode, the production filmed in a location that would be revisited for Season 2, in the alley behind Reis Studios in Queens.

Loading Dock (Episode 12)

In episode 12, this back alley/loading dock is revisited as the Man in Black asks Ben for details on drug shipments within the city.

The production chose to film at a slightly different location for this episode. This was shot in an alley just off 27th Street in Long Island City. The Google Street View, below, gives a good approximation of the shot.

DAREDEVIL SEASON 3

Karen Page’s Office (Episode 2-4)

In this season, Karen is working out of Ben Urich’s old office, keeping all the same decorations on the wall.

Offices and Bullpen (Episode 6)

For this 6th episode, a new and bigger Bullpen area was created. Dex, disguised as Daredevil, infiltrates the offices, killing and injuring several staffers and murdering Karen’s star witness, Jasper Evans. It’s uncertain if this office space was part of a soundstage or the same location used below for the Lobby and Front Doors.

Front Doors and Lobby (Episode 6-8)

The FBI responds to an incident at the New York Bulletin, believing that Daredevil has committed a number of heinous murders inside the building. Agent Nadeem and others race into the building. Foggy and Matt are sitting just outside the lobby, waiting for the FBI to stop by and arrest Matt when the killings occur. Episode 7 features a couple of quick shots of news reporters in front of the Bulletin, while episode 8 has Karen parked across the street watching a protest.

This location is unknown, but it appears to be part of some office building in the New York area.

Bulletin Printing Presses (Episode 6)

Matt chases Dex, still disguised as Daredevil, into the printing press area of the newspaper. Based on the imagery from the episode, this appears to be the New York Times Presses at their College Point, Queens location.

Offices and Bullpen (Episode 13)

The final episode of the series has Karen stopping by the Bulletin bullpen one last time. It’s the same set as seen in the previous seasons, just outside what used to be Karen and Ben’s office.
