In a selfless act, young Matt Murdock pushes an old man out of the way of an oncoming truck, getting splashed with toxic chemicals as a result.

The accident was filmed at the corner of St. Nicholas and W 115th Street in the Samuel Marx Triangle, with Matt’s dad, Jack, running south down St. Nicholas.
