Ward and Triplett investigate a possible location where the Clairvoyant is hiding, just before the entire Operation goes south!

There is no real Milton Keynes Prison, but there is a prison in Milton Keynes called HMP Woodhill, which does not look like this. An earlier iteration of the MCU Locations Map identified this as Pitchess Detention Center in Castaic, but that was dismissed. For one reason, the guard tower and building shapes do not seem to match. But even that turned out to be a red herring in the long search for this filming location.

The first thing to recognize about what was shown on the episode was that the visible guard tower and buildings resembled a border tower on the Gaza Strip, indicating they were a digital addition. The second was the amount of foliage. Many of the prison and correctional facilities in the Southland are in more arid areas.

After exploring many of the remaining prisons in Southern California used for filming with no luck, it was time to get creative. At the beginning of the scene, the characters walk from the corner of a fence, with lots of green foliage, plus some green plastic privacy screens. Could this be near a golf course? Well, in short, no–but it was next to a neighborhood. And what made this harder to find is that the location had been razed and is now condos and a supermarket.

Some exploration of defunct locations turned up the Fred C. Nelles Youth Correctional Facility in Whittier. It was an often-used filming location from its closing in 2004 through its demolition after 2018. BJ Britt and Brett Dalton are walking from the southern corner of the facility northeast along the fence line. The Barlow Respiratory Hospital, on the other side of the fence, has been replaced with a more prison-like background. The streetlight above the fence in the first image below can be seen in the street view from Barnum Drive, as linked below. The street view also shows the two rusty light poles in the wide shot (3rd image below). A satellite view from 2018 shows the filming location as it would have been back in early 2014 when this was filmed.

While no specific imagery of the guard post was found, that location is probably on the northwestern side of the property near the old entrance, off Whittier Boulevard.
