If I fought my way out of an underground Siberian prison, I’d kind of want to know what for.

The cold opening of this episode features Coulson, an apparent prisoner, escaping an underground Siberian prison with information from Agent Shaw.

Without further details from the crew (or better imagery), it’s nearly impossible to determine where these ubiquitous, pipe-strewn tunnels are located. They could be part of the power plant location used later in this episode, or part of the underground tunnels of Los Angeles, or perhaps even some other location best suited to filming.
