The Bowie sets down in a suburban neighborhood, where the Guardians find a group of human/animal hybrids living in the style of the 1980s. Peter, Groot, and Nebula borrow a car to find the headquarters of the High Evolutionary, while Drax and Mantis stay on guard.

A small neighborhood in Hampton, GA served as the setting for a lengthy shoot masquerading as Counter-Earth. The Bowie set down on Vinea Lane just Sugarlaef Trail. The house where Peter took the car from was just south of Sugarlaef.
