Sometimes we would catch a glimpse of a man with winged feet on the shore of the beach.

A flashback to 1571 AD depicts the origins of the Talokanil people and Namor. Later Nakia ends up on the same beach in her search for Shuri.

The majority of scenes that take place in Mexico or Haiti were filmed on the island of Puerto Rico. This beach is Las Palmas Beach in Manati. Unfortunately there is no pyramid located on the shore here. That is one of the digital embellishments the filmmakers used to create the location.
