After the battle in the desert, Shuri visits Nakia in Haiti and is finally able to process the grief over losing her brother and her mother. She sits on the beach and burns her funeral clothes, as per tradition. Nakia arrives with a young friend to introduce to the new Black Panther.

As with the other locations in Haiti, the production filmed these scenes on the island of Puerto Rico. The house and beach are part of a private AirBNB rental called Casa Elvira in Arecibo, Puerto Rico.
