Please don’t let MIT be dumb like me.
Peter searches out the Assistant Vice Chancellor of MIT in order to convince her to let Ned and Michelle into the school. He quickly realizes something else is wrong as he is attacked by Doctor Octopus.
While the initial shot of the Alexander Hamilton bridge were shot in New York City, closing down a highway for the extended amount of time needed to film this sequence would have been unfeasible. Instead, a portion of the highway bridge was recreated at Trilith Studios outside Atlanta, with giant blue screens erected to allow for easier digital background replacement, as well as preventing passerby’s from seeing the filming. A behind-the-scenes video from Vanity Fair provides and excellent documentary of this sequence.
