It’s beautiful, isn’t it?

The Eternals arrive on Earth and discover the first human civilization in Mesopotamia, 5000 BC. They defend the humans from an invasion of Deviants and introduce one of the first tools, directing the evolution of the planet’s populace.

A majority of the ancient flashback scenes in the film were shot on the Canary Islands of Lanzarote and Fuerteventura off the coast of Spain. These opening moments at the beach of Mesopotamia appear to be the west coast of Fuerteventura between the beaches of Playa de la Solapa and Playa de Vigocho, but also may have had some scenes filmed on the island of Lanzarote at the beaches of Playa de los Ciclos and Playa de Montaña Bermeja.
