Natasha tracks Clint down in Japan where he’s still grieving the loss of his family and has adopted the persona of Ronin.
While the establishing shot is a stock shot of Tokyo, looking at the Tsurumitsubasa Bridge from Tokyo Bay, the scenes of Clint and Natasha were shot in the undecidedly non-Japanese city of Atlanta. The production altered Broad St SW in Atlanta to look like Tokyo for this brief sequence.
