Tony Stark gives a demo of the BARF technology and provides all the attendees with their grant money. He is later accosted by grieving mother Miriam Sharpe in the hallway behind the stage.

The Atlanta Civic Center, which was used as the exterior for the IFID in Lagos, also served as the MIT Auditorium where Tony Stark gave his address. The living room set was filmed in an actual house (which is an unknown location), according to Cinefex 147.
