Oscorp Tower, New York | MCU Location Scout

The Oscorp Tower.

The Oscorp Tower houses 108 floors of innovation.

Peter pretends to be part of an intern tour of Oscorp in order to speak with Curt Conners. As everyone knows, when a Parker enters a lab full of genetically modified spiders, that’s known as an origin story.

The Hearst Tower, just off Columbus Circle in New York, served as the exteriors, the lobby, and “footprint” design for Oscorp Tower–according to Cinefex 151. However, all of the labs inside were built on a soundstage.

In-Universe, the building sits behind Grand Central Station, in the space occupied by the MetLife building. This is also the same location as Stark Tower in the MCU.

In The Amazing Spider-Man 2, there’s a brief flashback prologue showing Richard Parker leaving the Oscorp building. Later, Spider-Man saves Max Dillon from being hit by a flying taxi cab in the street out front during a police pursuit.

For part 2, the In-Universe address has changed. This time, signage indicates that Oscorp Tower is located at 1525 Avenue of the Americas (about 1 mile from Grand Central Terminal).

For the Sequel, the interiors received an upgrade as well, having a giant high-tech lobby constructed inside the New York State Armory, on Marcy Avenue.
