Peter discovers that the black suit reacts negatively to the bells in this church, while below, Eddie Brock asks God to kill Peter Parker.

Cinefex #110 confirms that the exteriors and the majority of the church tower sequence were shot digitally. Only a small portion of the top of the bell tower (where Peter is located) and the bottom of the tower (with Eddie) were constructed on set. The remainder was filled in by CGI. The interiors, however, were shot at St. Brendan’s Catholic Church, on South Van Ness Avenue in Los Angeles.
