To get his name on the list to read for the part of Wonder Man, Simon impersonates one of Janelle’s assistants–all while driving haphazardly through traffic.

This sequence was filmed along Ventura Boulevard in Studio City. The footage starts outside the SuperCuts at Arch Drive and continues past Lucifer’s Pizza, finally crossing Eureka Drive

Casting Call Audition

Simon checks in at the audition, meeting Trevor again, who provides a pep talk before meeting the casting director.

This location may have been unknown, if it weren’t for a weird thought. The opening of the episode had would-be actors waiting in line on a sidewalk for an audition. I thought, what if they filmed these at the same place? Well, it was just next door. The building on the corner of N. Western and Virginia (#1154) has the same-looking door (note the mail slot), and the windows in the audition room look out over the Ministry across Virginia Avenue.
