I’ve locked on Victor’s energy trail. He’s headed over Southeast China.

The Fantastic Four and Norrin Radd, in the Fantasticar, track Victor into Southeast China, where they get into a fight on a Shanghai street. Johnny uses the energies he absorbed from the Silver Surfer to borrow all the team’s powers in order to free the surfboard from Doom’s control.

Great Wall of China

The team flies past part of the Great Wall of China just before Doom obliterates a section of the ancient structure. This plate photography is presumed to be stock footage of the Wall. No wonder China doesn’t want to release American films in its country!

Shanghai

Sue’s part of the Fantasticar crashes into a small temple on a Shanghai street, where she is killed by Victor. The rest of the team makes a plan on how to defeat him. Johnny borrows the powers from everyone and gets the board back to the Surfer so he can stop Galactus.

Eveleigh Street in Vancouver was transformed into a Chinese street for this sequence.
