We had a dialogue. A clarifying one.

DAREDEVIL: BORN AGAIN SEASON 1

Interior

Fisk ends the 4th episode by descending into a basement, presumably at his hotel, but it could be anywhere, to eat a sumptuous meal and perhaps torture Adam a bit more. Two episodes later, Fisk takes out his aggression on Adam, nearly killing him. But he’s not dead until Vanessa shows up in episode 8.

Other than the bars and holding cell, this could be a real location. Even with the exterior of this location being revealed in episode 8, there’s still nothing that suggests these interior shots were filmed at the same place. And with the footage from Season 2, below, the thought is that this space was most likely built on a soundstage due to the rigging necessary for the fight sequence.

Exterior

The exterior of the building where Fisk’s dungeon is located is shown in episode 8 when Fisk brings Vanessa to see Adam. This location is outside the E.R. Butler & Co. on Ferris Street in Red Hook. It’s the same location where a quick video of the Swordsman fighting some crooks was shot for a BB Report in episode 6.

DAREDEVIL: BORN AGAIN SEASON 2

Episode 6 of Season 2 returns to this dungeon as Fisk mourns his wife. Daredevil arrives to try to reason with the Mayor. It goes exactly as expected.

This is the same interior location as seen in Season 1, and is now presumed to be a soundstage, due to the rigging needed for the fight between the two titans.
