As you know, I’ve stood in this court many times.

DAREDEVIL: BORN AGAIN SEASON 1

Matt testifies in court at the trial of Benjamin “Bullseye” Poindexter. He then reconnects, briefly, with Karen in the hallway outside.

In episode 4, Matt returns to the courthouse to speak with Sofija Ozola about reduced sentencing for Leroy Bradford. He then meets Officer Powell in the hallway outside.

Based on what is known about other courthouses in the area, the best guess for this location was originally the Daniel P. Moynihan United States Courthouse at 500 Pearl Street, also known as the U.S. District Court – Southern District of New York. But after further investigation and new footage in Season 2, the new best choice appears to be the Criminal Courthouse, at 100 Centre Street. Images from the NYC Media and Entertainment website show the interiors of some available courtrooms at this location, which seem to match several design aspects from the ones seen in this series.

The same hallway as seen above appears in Season 2. Episode 3 features the same courtroom from Season 1 for the trial of Jacques Duquesne, while a slightly different courtroom is seen in episode 7 during Karen’s trial.

Exterior

An exterior of the courthouse is also shown this season, first in episode 3, featuring a brief exchange between Kirsten and Heather, and then in episode 7, when Karen is being walked into her trial. Surprisingly, this is the main branch of the Brooklyn Public Library, off Eastern Parkway.

Parking Garage

After the trial, Matt and Kristen are escorted to a police vehicle in the underground parking structure, where they are attacked by gun-toting AVTF goons. The location of this garage is presently unknown, and could be almost any location in the city, even the one used for the garage level of Metro-General this season.

Lobby

The final episode of Season 2 includes a showdown between the people of New York, with Matt and his team, against Fisk, in what was intended to be the lobby of the courthouse. The production filmed this nearby at the New York City Department of Records at 31 Chambers Street.
