Matt and Elektra spar at a New York playground.

Does every guy have to go through all this to find out your name?

Matt follows Elektra to get her number, and the two get into a wonderfully choreographed fight on playground equipment outside a public school. The name of the school can be seen stenciled on the wall in the back left during the encounter.

Behind the scenes video of this “fight” clearly shows that the production is filming on a Hollywood backlot. It’s unclear which one it may be. Much of the New York street scenes were filmed at Paramount’s backlot, but this was a 20th Century Fox picture, which has a small New York area on their lot as well.
