Deadpool and Wolverine confront Paradox on city street.

Well, if you’re gonna have a midlife crisis, go big.

The unnamed city that Wade lives in shows up at the beginning of the film, and at the exciting climax, where Wolverine and Deadpool must fight off dozens of variant Deadpools. Wade’s apartment in located on Maine Street, between Kessler and Walker Avenues.

According to an article at BeforesAndAfters.com, which interviewed Matt Twyford (the visual effects supervisor at the visual effects company Framestore), all the city street sequences were filmed on the backlot at Pinewood Studios in the UK. As such, the production was able to add in some fun easter eggs including the store named “Liefeld’s Just Feet,” in reference to Deadpool comic artist Rob Liefeld.
