What is the point of having sirens if nobody gets out of the way?

Worried that Alisa is heading to kill her best friend, Trish, in the hospital, Jessica rides in Detective Costa’s unmarked police car as they speed through traffic. When the traffic gets too thick, Jessica jumps out of the vehicle and heads to Riverbank Medical on foot, much to the dismay of Detectives Costa and Sunday.

The first part of the sequence, driving through the traffic, was filmed heading south on Crescent Drive toward 44th Road. When they get stuck in the backup, the traffic is now heading north from 44th Road on Crescent Drive. In a wide shot of the traffic jam, the city skyline has been digitally superimposed into the background, something that is uncommon for the Netflix shows.
