Planet Zero | MCU Location Scout

A figure getting off the dimensional pod on Planet Zero.

All these abilities come from another dimension that our scientists have taken to calling Planet Zero.

In this universe, the fateful change came, not with astronauts on a doomed flight, but with metronauts breaking through barriers unknown.

Of course, no travel to an alternate dimension was necessary for the masters of the glamorous greenscreen. The entirety of Planet Zero was a figment in the imagination of visual effects artists, but there’s a kernel of real-world inspiration there. The diagonally jutting rocks on the mysterious planet are reminiscent of the famous Vasquez Rocks in Santa Clarita, CA–the backdrop for many alien worlds in Star Trek and beyond.
