Young Reed travels to the salvage yard of one Benjamin Grimm, who helps the boy get a necessary part for his Biomatter Shuttle.

This location is cloaked in the mysteries of the universe, but it is presumed to have been filmed at the soundstages the production used in Baton Rouge, LA. This presumption is made by the behind-the-scenes image posted below, where a large black backdrop is behind the Grimm Salvage building. With filming being done in Louisiana, obviously the New York skyline is a visual effect, but this image appears that a facade and junk yard was built that looked more like something from Brooklyn than Baton Rouge.
