Flame on!
To protect Sue and Ben, Johnny leaps off the roof of the Baxter Building and turns into the Human Torch to prevent a heat-seeking missile from blowing them up.
The first shot of the Torch being chased by the missile is southeast on W 56th Street from 7th Avenue.

Johnny then dives through Times Square, as seen at the top of the page and below.
MAP
Johnny races along Park Avenue, headed south, and heads skyward at the Helmsley Building just behind Grand Central Terminal.
MAP
As Johnny reaches the apex of his upward flight, he sends a fireball higher before turning off his flames and falling back towards the city. Somehow, he has moved from Grand Central to above Rockefeller Center.
MAP
The Torch races past an office building, with the missile still in pursuit as a janitor cleans the floors. While the interior is a soundstage, the background plates look like the style of buildings near Lexington Avenue and E 49th Street, though it is probably a digital amalgamation of buildings.
MAP
In the next sequence, Johnny zips between a few skyscrapers trying to lose the pursuing missile. He is at the southern tip of Manhattan flying above Water Street and the Staten Island Ferry.
MAP
The Torch takes the missile out over Upper Hudson Bay, towards the Statue of Liberty, where he lights a garbage barge on fire, causing the heat-seeker to detonate safely outside of the city.
